Roland Purcell is leading an exclusive Great Ape Escape safari. The safari has space for only four guests travelling in their private Cessna 206; Roland is pilot and guide and will be with you throughout the safari, which starts in Nairobi and continues to Rwanda, where you experience the endangered mountain Gorilla at close quarters. After a few days in Rwanda, the safari goes on to Mahale - an extraordinary oasis on the shores of Lake Tanganyika which was founded by Roland. A brief outline of the itinerary is as follows:
