Scenic Flights

This is an unforgettable experience for those that want more out of life than just a lie in.  Taking off at first light, fly low over the coral reefs north of Manda Island and get a glimpse of a school of Black tip reef sharks.  Onward you will fly over the reefs of Manda Island and with the sun rising over the Indian Ocean, it brings Takwa Ruins into life – a once thriving Settlement back in the 13th Century. Heading Southwards, we fly over Lamu town and along the shores of Lamu Island to the mainland where wildlife abounds amongst palm forests and coastal riverine forest.  The plentiful waterholes are hang- outs for Buffalo and Hippo and the grasslands have Waterbuck, Topi, Zebra, Warthog, Giraffe, Hartebeest and a variety of birdlife.  In addition to the game, there are small villages of the Orma people, a nomadic tribe who live out the seasons with their cattle. Back in time for Breakfast, it will be the most enjoyable hour of your life!
